Gbo b’ o tin dun rara pe,
“E ronupiwada.”
Ohun na ko ha dun to
Ipe na ko kan o?
Kil o se, arakunrin,
Ti o ko fi mira?

“Ijoba ku si dede” –
Ijoba Olorun,
Awon t’ o ti fo ‘so won,
Nikan ni yio gunwa,
Ese t’ o ko fi nani
Ohun alore yi,
Ti ndun l’ eti re tantan
Pe, “Renupiwada?”

Verse 3

Abana pelu Farpar’
Le je odo mimo,
Sugbon ase ‘wenumo,
Jordan’ nikan l’ o ni;
Ju ero re s’ apakan,
Se ase Oluwa,
Wa sinu adagun yi,
We, k’ o si di mimo.

Verse 4

Kin’ iba da o duro?
Awawi kan ko si;
W’ odo, wo Jordannu re,
Ohun gbogbo setan;
O pe ti o ti njiyan,
O ha bu Emi ku?
